Keystore file validation in Linux and Windows
- Check if Java is installed in your machine
- Be ready with your keystore password and the jks file
- Type the following command:
- /usr/java/default/bin/keytool -list -v -storepass PASSWORD123 -keystore /root/technical_nonsense.jks
- If you are using a windows machine, install a tool called Portecle
- You can download it for free from here:
- Once you install it, open the tool and drag and drop your jks files on the canvas.
- When it prompts for a password, enter your keystore password.
- You will the certificate like this:
